A missing spare does not always mean the car must go to a dealership. For supported vehicles, we can originate a key from the vehicle and register it without copying an existing working key.
Making a key when there is nothing to copy
Key origination starts with the vehicle rather than an old blade. After confirming ownership, we identify the lock and electronic key system, determine the correct key, and establish the mechanical cut through an appropriate authorized method. Electronic registration is a separate step when the vehicle requires it.

Why availability must be confirmed first
Some vehicles need dealer involvement, ordered parts or access that is not available on a mobile visit. A VIN does not by itself prove ownership or guarantee that a particular procedure is supported.
If the missing key may be in someone else’s possession, discuss lost-key deletion and rekeying. Making a replacement alone does not necessarily disable that key.
